Privacy Policy

Grow By Lead is a lead-research tool operated by Grow By Lead. It has two parts: a Chrome extension that scans public business websites, and a dashboard where your results are saved. For questions about this policy, write to hello@growbylead.com.

• Account data: your email address (or the Google/Apple account you sign in with), your plan, your license key, and the devices that key is bound to.
• Scan results: publicly available business information collected from the websites you choose to scan — website URL, published contact emails and phone numbers, social media profile links, detected technologies, category, country, and the page each detail came from.
• Your CRM notes: the stage, score, tags, and notes you add to a lead yourself.
• Basic usage counts: how many scans you ran, so daily plan limits can be enforced.

We do not store full page HTML or screenshots, and we do not collect anything from pages you did not ask Grow By Lead to scan.

The results you scan are saved to your workspace and shown only in your dashboard. Database-level row-level security keeps each workspace separate, so other customers cannot read your records.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your scan results, your leads, or your contact list. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not share your data with data brokers. A small number of Grow By Lead staff can access records when you ask us for support or when we must investigate abuse — nothing more.

• To create your account and keep you signed in.
• To run scans and show you the results you asked for.
• To enforce plan limits, device binding, and fair use.
• To take payment and send receipts.
• To answer support tickets and fix bugs.

Grow By Lead reads information that a business has already published on its own public website — the kind of details on a contact or about page. We do not bypass logins, paywalls, or private areas.

When you research businesses, you act as the controller of that information. Please use it lawfully: scan only sites you are permitted to research, respect marketing and anti-spam rules in your country, and honour opt-out requests from anyone you contact.

When you use Grow By Lead GPT, the text you paste is sent to an AI model provider only to generate the report you requested. It is not used to train models and it is not added to any marketing profile. The output is guidance — check anything important before acting on it.

We keep the list short. Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
• Stripe — payments, subscriptions, and invoices. Card details never reach our servers.
• Google / Apple — social sign-in, only if you choose it.
• An AI model provider — Grow By Lead GPT responses.
• An email provider — sign-in codes and account notifications.

• Saved leads, contacts and CRM data — available for the lifetime of your account. Website, emails, phone numbers, social media links, technologies, category, country, and your own notes stay visible on Free, Starter and Pro unless you choose to hide or delete them.
• Detailed scan evidence — retained with your saved leads. In-depth SEO and page-analysis details are not automatically removed after a fixed number of days.
• Billing records are kept as long as accounting rules require.

Exports in CSV, Excel, JSON, and JSONL are available on paid plans, and anything you export is yours to keep.

• Row-level security isolates every workspace at the database layer.
• All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS.
• License keys are device-bound and can be reset from your dashboard.
• Payments run entirely through Stripe — we never see your card number.

You can view, export, or delete your records at any time from the dashboard. You can also ask us to access, correct, export, or erase your account by writing to hello@growbylead.com. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days, except where a record must be retained for accounting or legal reasons. Depending on where you live, you may also object to processing or ask for a portable copy.

Material changes are announced in the product and reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Grow By Lead after an update means the revised policy applies.
